ALEX MONTYRO

Alex Montyro is a Canadian actor, musician and entrepreneur based in Prague, Czech Republic. Growing up in a house of musical performers he early on dedicated himself to the performing arts acting in stage performances and as a musician. Alex has performed as lead singer and guitarist around the world in the musical groups Bookie Baker and Mala Ruckus. Although mostly focused on music to begin with, Alex fell in love with acting again when he moved to Prague and has since acted steadily in stage productions, television and short films including the lead role in the absurd comedy series “English Breakfast” which he also co-wrote and directed. The show went on for 22 episodes.

In his spare time, Alex loves playing sports, writing and learning languages. He speaks English, Mandarin Chinese and Spanish.


More recently he has cofounded a production company called Craft Lab and has been cast in the TV Series “Hunting” and in R C Sheriff's play "Journeys End” as British Officer Lieutenant Trotter.
